Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure\u00ae Series is the world\u2019s largest and most successful education and fundraising event for breast cancer ever created.<\/p>\n

First organized in 1983, after the promise of Nancy Brinker to her dying sister that she would do everything she could to end breast cancer forever, the Komen Race for the Cure Series has grown from one Race with 800 people in Dallas to a global series of more than 150 Races with over 1 million people participating on four continents.<\/p>\n

Greece Race for the Cure\u00ae is a running event against breast cancer, organized in Athens by the Hellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer \u201cAlma Zois\u201d, in collaboration with the Organization of Susan G. Komen for the Cure\u00ae.<\/p>\n

Greece Race for the Cure\u00ae is now one of the most popular Races for breast cancer awareness in Europe and is the largest sports event with a social purpose in Greece, bringing together more than 300,000 entries throughout the history of the event .<\/p>\n

This year, on Sunday, September 28th, we are meeting again at Zappeion and digitally.<\/p>\n

Think Pink Europe\u00ae<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Think Pink Europe\u00ae was founded in 2018 by five organisations with significant social impact in the fight against breast cancer, among which is Alma Zois Association.<\/p>\n

The aim of the organisation is to foster collaboration at European level between members, adopting best practices in order to maximise social impact and reduce inequalities in access to quality care for breast cancer patients through innovative programmes.<\/p>\n

Currently, Think Pink Europe\u00ae is composed of 25 breast cancer organisations. Race for the Cure\u00ae events across Europe are organised with its approval.<\/p>\n
