1. Introduction \u2013 Purpose of this Privacy Notice<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The Hellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer \u201cAlma Zois\u201d (hereinafter the \u201cAssociation\u201d, \u201cwe\u201d, \u201cus\u201d or \u201cour\u201d) considers the protection of your personal data to be a fundamental prerequisite for respecting the dignity, privacy and rights of every individual who contacts us or participates in our activities.<\/p>\n

Through this Privacy Notice, we explain, in as clear and understandable a manner as possible, what personal data we collect, the purposes for which we process it, the legal bases on which we rely, the parties with whom we share it, the period for which we retain it, as well as your rights and the ways in which you may exercise them.<\/p>\n

Due to the nature of our mission, certain activities involve the processing of data concerning your health, which constitutes a special category of personal data protected by enhanced safeguards (see Section 9). Such processing is always carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 (the \u201cGeneral Data Protection Regulation\u201d or \u201cGDPR\u201d), Greek Law 4624\/2019, Greek Law 3471\/2006, and all other applicable national and European legislation.<\/p>\n

This Privacy Notice is comprehensive and applies to all processing activities carried out by the Association in its capacity as Data Controller, regardless of the medium or website involved (including, without limitation, www.almazois.gr<\/a> and www.greecerace.gr<\/a>), as well as to offline activities. Any specific terms and conditions of participation incorporate this Privacy Notice by reference and do not amend or supersede it. The use of cookies is governed separately for each website.<\/p>\n
