Who can take part on the 2K walk?
Everybody! You can walk as a team or individually. Women, men, children, parents with their babies, dogs… We all walk together in a beautiful route in Athens, being part of a global community against breast cancer.

Participants for the 2K walk may register online on www.greecerace.gr.
Each participant gets the offficial Greece Race for the Cure® t-shirt.

Walkers tips
Keep in mind the following, in order to have the best time in the Race Day!
- Please find the walk start and be on time. Please do not try to get to the 5K Race start, each route is separate and our volunteers will not let you get to the starting line.
- The 2K walk is fun! There is no competition!
- Please wait for the start signal and follow the instructions given by the Organizations’ volunteers.
- Do not forget your hat! It might be hot and sunny, protect yourself.
- Remember free water bottles are offered by the Water Supplies Sponsor, inside Zappeion, do not hesitate to get yours!
- Feel free, take as many pictures as you like and spread the word against breast cancer! But, please, respect the rest of the crowd and do not prevent the rest of the participants in their way against breast cancer.
- When you finish the 2K walk, do not leave! There are many more surprises in Zappeion, come and see!
Greece Race for the Cure® little friends
Our little friends, through their participation, are educated, recognize the importance of a healthy lifestyle, become aware of social issues, and have fun at the same time!
What you can do at Greece Race for the Cure® with your kids
- On Saturday, September 28th and Sunday, September 29th many surprises awaits everyone at Zappeion Courtyard!
- At “Μάθε για μένα” booth, race’s volunteers will inform you about breast cancer prevention.
- Write on your «ΥΠΟΣΧΟΜΑΙ» sticker your promise and talk to your children about habits that promote healthy lifestyle.
- Visit the “wall of wishes” with your children and let them write their own message against breast cancer.
Come with your pet!
Everyone can participate in the Greece Race for the Cure®!
On the weekend of the event, come to Zappeion with your pet.
The event’s pet runners’ sponsor will be at Zappeion expo and on every route with special pet stops.
