5K Race kit
5K runners get the official Greece Race for the Cure® 5Κ runners t-shirt and a racing bib with timing chip.
You can pickup of your race kit, along with the race bib:
- From the pick-up point, 61, September 3rd Str, Athens, ground floor (Theodosiadis Drama School ), Monday 23/9/2024 to Friday 27/9/2024, 10am – 8pm.
- By mailing to your address (to be charged to the recipient upon receipt).
Personal stuff safekeeping
Alma Zois provides personal stuff safekeeping for 5K runners. The special kiosk will be in Zappeions’ expo area.
Our volunteers will be there to lock your personal stuff and let you run against breast cancer.
Please do not bring heavy or too much personal stuff with you.
Race bib
Upon your online registration, a personal code is registered for each 5K runner. In the racing bib you will receive, you will also have a bar code.
This barcode is the only way to keep track of your finish time in Greece Race for the Cure®, so remember to put it on.

Attention! In order the timing chip to start, one must pass under the Starting Arch, stepping on the special starting line.
Runners results
Runners’ results will be uploaded here: greecerace.gr/5k-runners-results/
You may search by your name or your timing chip.
There are two different times posted :
The first result counts each runner’s performance since the Race start and this is the result that is taken into consideration in order to find the winners.
The second result counts the net time since each runner stepped on the starting line.
Who wins a prize?
In Greece Race for the Cure® everybody is a winner. Each participation has a great impact. An award is given only to:
- 3 first men runners
- 3 first women runners
- 3 first breast cancer survivors runners
5K Race route
- Vasilissis Amalias Avenue
- Vassilissis Sophias Avenue (at the upstream to former Hilton Hotel)
- Vasilissis Sofias Avenue (downstream towards the American Embassy)
- Turn at the height of Tsoha Street
- Vassileos Konstantinou Avenue (downstream),
- Finish line at Vasiileos Konstantinou Avenue, opposite Kallimarmaro Stadium.
