Survivors

We are TOGETHER

If you have experienced breast cancer, this is your race.

Greece Race for the Cure® represents the journey we have been through, the challenges we have faced, and the fact that life is beautiful besides breast cancer.

The emotions we experience while coping with the disease are shared by many of us, just as the sense of emotion and connection we feel on race day is something we all have in common.

GREECE RACE FOR THE CURE®

The Pink T-Shirt

The pink T-shirt at Greece Race for the Cure® carries a special and deeply symbolic meaning. On race day, it is worn exclusively by survivors, people who have experienced breast cancer.

It is a simple reminder that life goes on.

A subtle yet powerful message: “I am here.”

A sign of solidarity and shared experience.

It is a symbol of empowerment, a way of telling the woman beside you, “You can do it.”

It is also a way to encourage open conversations about breast cancer and help break down stigma and taboos.

And, of course, the choice remains personal. Anyone who does not wish to wear the pink T-shirt may take part wearing white instead.

After all, what matters most is being present, supporting one another, and sharing a common message of hope.
