Signage

  1. Maps will be available at central points throughout the Race Village, showing all points of interest as well as directions to the starting area.
  2. Kilometer flags will be placed along the 5K race route.

Getting There

Roads will gradually begin closing from  6:00 a.m.

We recommend using public transportation to reach Pedion tou Areos.

The following stations provide convenient access:

  • Ambelokipi Metro Station
  • Victoria ISAP Station
  • Omonia ISAP/Metro Station

*Bus and trolley services providing access to Pedion tou Areos will be modified according to the traffic restrictions in effect.

Team Meeting Point – Team Photography

If you are coming with your team, you can set your meeting point  at the Oikonomidis Plateau, near the “Alsos” Theatre.

We will have a beautiful backdrop there where you can take photos with your team and keep a wonderful memory of your participation!

Water Stations

  1. Halfway through the 5K race route (intersection of Panepistimiou & Omirou)
  2. At the finish:
  • Kodrigktonos & Kypselis
  • Intersection of Mavrommateon & Derigny

There will also be hydration stations at 2 different locations inside Pedion tou Areos

Medical Coverage

    1. At the Operations Center (at the starting area), the Race Coordinator and Race Doctor will be present (TYPET Entrance).
    2. In the Pedion tou Areos area (Constantine Statue), there will be a medical station staffed by a doctor and emergency rescuers from SOS Doctors, as well as a First Aid station staffed by emergency rescuers from the Volunteer Crisis Rescue Team (EDOK).
    3. At the front of the Road Race route, there will be a motorcycle from the Volunteer Crisis Rescue Team (EDOK).
    4. A motorcycle from the Voluntary Rescue Crisis Team (EDOK) will also be stationed at the coordination center.
    5. Two members of the Voluntary Rescue Crisis Team (EDOK) will be positioned every kilometer along the route.
    6. Members of the event’s volunteer team will be fully informed about the contact details of the first-aid stations.
    7. Ambulances will be stationed:
    • At Pedion tou Areos
    • At the end of both the Race and the Walk
    • Halfway along the race route (Riga Feraiou & Akademias)
    • Along the walking route (Averof & Marnis)

     

    1. The National Center for Emergency Assistance (ΕΚΑΒ) is always by our side.

If someone near you feels unwell, please notify a member of our volunteer team.

Runners’ Bag Check

A bag storage service is available exclusively for runners, inside Pedion tou Areos (“Athena Statue” Entrance – Alexandras Avenue).

The service will be available:

  • Drop-off of belongings: until 8:15 a.m.
  • Collection of belongings: until 11:00 a.m.

Safety Measures

  1. Security at Pedion tou Areos will be provided by Mega Group Security and Kolossos Security.

  2. Barriers will be installed to ensure the safe start of the runners.

  3. Kilometer markers for the Road Race route will be placed every 1,000 meters.

  4. After finishing, runners and walkers should continue walking so as to avoid crowding and allow the remaining participants to finish smoothly.

Respect the Area

Let’s enjoy the beautiful park that hosts us while treating it with respect:

  • Walk only on the paved or designated walking paths and avoid stepping on the green areas.
  • Use only the designated rubbish and recycling bins for your waste.
  • Leave nothing behind except our footprint in the fight against breast cancer!

Toilets – WC

  1. Portable toilets provided by the event will be available on Mavrommateon Street and Bousgou Street, on the sidewalk

Accessibility Guidelines for People with Disabilities

If you are attending in a wheelchair or have mobility difficulties, please follow the guidelines below for a comfortable and safe experience:

  • Event Area: The main stage and event booths are located at the Oikonomidis Plateau, an easily accessible area within the park, with access from the entrance at Protomagias Square.
  • Your Route: The 2 km Walk (Sunday, October 4, at 10:30 a.m.) has been designed without steep inclines, making it suitable for wheelchairs and strollers.
  • Public Transportation: The nearest accessible stations are Victoria Station (Line 1 – ISAP) and Ambelokipi Station (Line 3 – Metro).
  • Need Assistance? Members of our volunteer team, identifiable by their turquoise T-shirts, will be present throughout the park to guide you and provide any assistance you may need.
  • Entrance & Starting Point: Please use the main entrance on Mavrommateon Street (near the statue of Constantine) or the entrance on Alexandras Avenue (Athena statue). Access is completely level, with no steps, and leads directly to the park’s wide, paved pathways.
